Town of Newburgh Democratic Committee Supports Resolution Opposing ICE Facility in Chester

The Town of Newburgh Democratic Committee strongly supports the resolution introduced by the Orange County Legislature’s Rules Committee opposing the proposed ICE facility in Chester. We commend Legislator Genesis Ramos on her leadership in bringing this important measure forward and thank all legislators, regardless of party affiliation, who have joined in supporting this resolution.

This bipartisan opposition to the ICE facility reflects the values of our community and the region.
