Committee Meeting
Join the Town of Newburgh Democratic Committee for our monthly meeting to discuss local issues, organize grassroots initiatives, and support Democratic candidates at the local, state, and national levels. These meetings serve as the "heart and soul" of the party, where neighbors come together to keep the community informed and engaged.
What to Expect:
- Local Advocacy: Discussions on town-wide issues such as infrastructure, housing stability, and environmental protection.
- Campaign Organizing: Planning for petitioning and "Get Out The Vote" (GOTV) efforts, canvassing, and phone banking.
- Candidate Engagement: Opportunities to meet and hear from elected officials and endorsed candidates for the Town Board, County Legislature, and other offices.
- Community Updates: Sharing information on upcoming town events, voter registration drives, and legislative changes.
Who Can Attend: These meetings are generally open to registered Democrats in the Town of Newburgh who are interested in becoming more involved in local governance and party activities. If you are interested in getting involved or becoming a District Leader, this is the best place to start.
